Blindfolded against the wall, nothing changed in the past decades, but we’re chained to depressing dreams: “to be awake is to be alive”. Hundred miles away from home, I don’t know how far this can go. The burden is the same or greater, but we need to end this nightmare. This is the way we’re forced to live, to watch the world spinning in flames. Our cigarettes are burning slowly, the embers (are) falling for our rights. Hundred miles away from home, I don’t know how far this can go. The burden is the same or greater, but we need to end this nightmare. Standing still / counting back / the preacher speaks / muzzle flash. This alarm is to wake the fuck up, we are more than flesh and bones. You can tear down all our shelters, we will build up more and more. We are coded for survival, our beliefs are carved in stone.
2.
I wonder where empathy has gone, why I became the one I was scared of? In those days, in desperate needs your empty words were blown by the wind. We've been judged by what we've done as we all looking for some answers, Start to begging relief from ourselves, when things are getting worse. I can't hold you back, if that's what you need. I wish you'll understand it, why this silent treatment hurts, I feel I don't deserve this as I'm getting rolled with the memory. Skeleton dance in the twilight, we fall into our nightmares, a tight rope won’t be your guide, a threadbare bone leads to contrite. We live with what we have, but yearn for something more, you'd rather hang on a sure thing, then try to cut the rope. A nest can’t be safe when you’re out there, This mess is choking me, trapped in a shell, lost but beware, a confession sets me free. Can't hold you back if that's what you need, Can't hold you back, just take all you need.
3.
Longing for the light that was seen in the picture Coloured with hopes and passion, not confessions but the silence tore apart the whole canvas, and it's only an empty frame - that was left from us, that was left from us. Sitting with ghosts, ghosts who came to put burden on us, Sleeping with ghosts, ghosts who are here to remind us. They say, these days won't fade away, as the sun sets cold and far between. They say, these days won’t fade away, as the sun sets cold and far between. Shining bright! Coming one chest, but the pressure lasts, while the moments are passing, and there's the heat what's just missing, I guess. Missing, I guess. Crippled in the heat, The spark might come from the evil you won't speak. As you see it deep, like a black cat on the street But you still have to cross, as I'm still right here. I'm still right here. They say, these days won’t fade away, as the sun sets cold and far between. They say, these days won’t fade away, as the sun sets cold and far between.
4.
You might think that over time our balance should’ve been earned, but time and time again we find our mistakes have returned. Even if I've sworn repent and promised, "I won't stay" I find myself back here again with the same old pale grey weight. How many times must we become the ones who knows where it ends? How should we break this cycle? ...and so it goes, and so it goes, it's the pressure, I suppose, no matter where I start to roam, it doesn't matter to me. "It doesn't matter much to me" - I keep telling that to myself, I strengthen myself with distance from the same old pale grey weight. How many times must we become the ones who knows where it ends? How many times must we force ourselves to say farewell to the past? To defeat myself as my rival, To become one with the pack, To break this cycle, to shape what the future lends. Time measures nothing but itself. It heals the past to wound what the future repels. Time measures nothing but itself. It heals the past to wound what the future repels. Time measures nothing but itself.
5.
Enough with this nonsense, We’re not here for scenery - Copper and rust, Shine and fear us! We can’t be more divided By furious speeches And passing lights We can’t sit next to those who blames a phantom through blinding ties You took our colours, you took our faith, But you can’t take what you handle with hate. We can’t feel more frustrated By ignorance And empty smiles We’re deaf by all the lies They told to us While they fed their lives. We are the pressure, the promise of youth, An opposition you just can’t get through. We’re not here for applause, not here for scenery - Copper and rust, Shine and fear us! Shine and fear us! Let’s burn these candles, And prepare for the end, when the curtain drops, and smoke fills the air. It’s a reminder On what we have lost, Sending this signal To the ones we can trust. Sharing the same thoughts, Same ache, same pain, Our suffer is common, And so as our fate. Therefore we can’t mourn - Retreat and heal, The tyranny should fail, And time won’t stand still. Time won’t stand still. Time won’t stand still. Time won’t stand still. Time won’t stand still.
6.
Lurking in the shadows, while the light shines on those ones, who keeps us in our cave, blinded by their gods. Hollow footsteps mark my path, can't trust those who "made it" - Rather hit on ignorance, deep-rooted in our spirit. When you take their hammer, they'll become your nails. If you bow to their hand, the whole movement fails. Embers and reflections, a cause to leave this place, we all deserve more than these walls, to live outside our fears. We stand for the unversed, it's the point of no return, (I'll) leave my burdens down there, this void won't let them burn. When you take their hammer, they'll become your nails. If you bow to their hand, the whole movement fails. Will these walls once crumble, or should we dig a hole? - as long as we die trying, they can't earn full control. I can't embrace this vision without a lack of faith. The values we believe in should define our saving grace. Fake smiles fade wherever I roam - so skip the prayer, cast the stone.
7.
Should I face the eagle that haunts me in my dream? It's late night, and I can't sleep. There's a lot going on my mind, I yearn, I learn, I probe. Waving flags without a true heartbeat, placing wreaths next to the concrete, (while) suffer and pain formed a statue, history books prevail on the untrue. It's a long ride and I won't stop - There's still so much things to tell Passing the torch without a doubt on silence and empty streets. Forgiveness can't become an option, all my worries would lead me astray. A statue can't shape my sole bequest a clandestine gesture won't be missed Flags can't shape our sole bequest We must speak up for the oppressed! I try my best but the past can't hold me down. I try my best but the past can't hold me down.
8.
See the shining in my eyes, it reflects the moon. I’ve been sacrificed the light to heal my wounds. Summoning spirits by my relics they’ll recover my soul. A broken mirror can’t reflect, how fragile am I in this void? In that strife I have lost the light I need to make sacrifices to recover myself. In that strife I have lost the light I can’t let this obscurity take over my life. With the voice of angry thunder I face my doom This pressure squeezes my chest, creeps into my thoughts. My cold heart has stories to tell, but I stitched my mouth. I spent a lifetime in this hole to feel myself human after all. To beat my rival and feel safe in my shell, I’ll turn against my world to protect me from my own hell. Break out and leave the dusk behind. To beat my rival and feel safe in my shell, I’ll turn against my world to protect me from my own hell. In that strife I have lost the light I need to make sacrifices to recover myself. In that strife I have lost the light I can’t let this insecurity take over my life.
9.
How much can a broken man take, swinged away by a low tide in the stream? Mesmerized by the bottom to leave, too close to be swallowed by the deep. "Sorrow makes us all children again." - as (the) lack of compassion wants to remain, nostalgia just offers a spade and a chain. The whole world is painted in black - the record skips to remind you all you had, where scratches mark the surface, just follow the noise of the purpose. What needs to happen to break a man, who feels an urge in the stains of his hands? Premonition raised us in the room of upheaval, But when we stick as a pack they treat us half-equal. Silence and doubts are the worst to advise, let the weak and the dumb seek for their demise, Searching for answers, accepting lies. The more they swallow the less they care, (while) these cities were built on our elders' despair, these buildings and bullet holes became our altair, but prayers will not help us, and the mass just feeds our flame. What needs to happen to stick together in times like these, to set an alarm that rings for the sacrificial sheep? How many times must we become the ones Will we gather to break this cycle? Or our father, premonition becomes our rival?

Üres híd, néma éjszaka én mindig a kis dolgokkal kezdem zsebemben felesleges dolgok így lettem ura a semminek. Üres híd, néma éjszaka - A rádióból újabb jelet várok. Darabokra szétesnek, aztán összeállnak a képek, jelentések nélkül, miután minden újraépül. Benntartom, kiengedem megint, Benntartom, kiengedem megint.

about

"3AM Confessions traverses the full range of negative emotions around generational questions without any particular feeling of hope. The communal needs through these songs are resonating on a quite diverse palette, expanding Satelles’ melodic hardcore vision with post-hardcore, blues and folklore elements. At the end of the record there’s no easy way-out, although a search for a wished destination organises the album into a journey for salvation through rhetorical questions about our society. But the bands’ only answer is an uncomfortable ride on the longest Satelles full-length, mixed by Markus Matzinger (Implore, Sixscore), mastered by Alan Douches (Modern Life Is War, Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan)."
